Youth & AI Art for Peace

Program Spotlight

Youth & AI
Art for Peace

Nairobi, Kenya

A monthly 2025-2027 initiative, begun in February, in partnership with Safer Communities Alliance, Aethics.AI, and American Spaces. The program equips young people in Nairobi's hotspot areas with creative, digital, and civic skills while turning art into a tool for peacebuilding. Through collaborative artmaking, youth learn to counter violence narratives, challenge harmful social practices like early marriage and teenage pregnancy, and create compelling visuals that promote peaceful elections and civic engagement. The initiative harnesses AI-assisted design and community art exhibitions to amplify messages of social cohesion, gender equality, and hope—transforming young artists into peace ambassadors who redirect their talents toward community healing and positive social change.
